Accounting, Finance, Auditing and Tax

Finance careers at Phillips 66 involve a critical role in helping the company reach its goal to develop future generations of global business leaders. Exposure may include providing finance, accounting, business analysis, and decision support to operations and management. Initial duties could include revenue, cost or investment accounting, government reporting, working with other companies on crude, gas or product imbalances and exchanges, economic evaluations, cash and earnings budgeting or forecasting, management reporting, accounting consolidations and analysis, federal and state tax filing and compliance, credit administration, cash management and banking, and internal audit. Communications and Public Affairs

Communications & Public Affairs is a distinct group of professional communicators and collaborators who manage a diverse set of communications, public affairs and community relations needs. This group provides all internal and external communication messaging and provide strategic services for writing support, document approvals, and collateral material development. The mixture of print and electronic communication allows us to keep employees and the public updated on current events throughout the company. We also provide creative services that include assignments in graphic design, audio visual support and development, and preservation. It is also our mission to be active in our communities by participating in volunteer events and contributing to programs which help Phillips 66 serve as a quality corporate citizen.

Engineering

Engineering positions supporting the company's Refining and Marketing organization also offer unique challenges. As a company with strong regional brands in the U.S., Europe and Asia, we strive to fulfill the potential of our employees with extraordinary leadership. Depending on your assignment, your focus may range from major capital project support to plant optimization. Capital project support includes working on initial project development studies; developing process, civil, electrical/instrumentation, or mechanical engineering designs; assisting with project management activities; interfacing with vendors, contractors and technical experts to ensure quality designs; and identification of new ideas and innovative concepts for continuous improvement of designs and design practices. In addition, technology divisions complete work on fuel evaluation and quality assurance.

The Global Procurement Services organization plays a critical role in sourcing and managing the goods and services required to enable Phillips 66 to deliver energy in a safe, environmentally and socially responsible manner to the world.  Our purpose is to provide global, commercial, and proactive procurement expertise that creates maximum value for Phillips 66.  Develop your business, analytical and communication skills in a variety of professional roles within Global Procurement Services.  Opportunities include sourcing and contracting strategies, analysis of internal spend and cost modeling, inventory management, in-depth knowledge of supply markets, and supplier relationship management.  Day-to-day purchasing activities go hand in hand with management of the procure-to-pay process in addition to strong governance and talent management.  Whether in Strategic Sourcing, Global Contracting, Category Management, the Leverage Service Center, Functional Leadership or one of the business offices, Global Procurement Services partners with operations to consistently deliver differentiating value to the Company.

Careers in the Transportation organization involve working with marine vessels, pipelines, and truck or rail units to deliver products safely and responsibly. Some careers in Transportation may be under the Phillips Pipe Line Company, which delivers value by providing dependable pipeline and terminal services through excellence in operations and asset integrity. As the most economical transportation system, this group is important to the success of Phillips 66. Truck and Rail employees will work with delivery schedules, terminal contracts, and logistics to ensure a timely delivery of quality product.
