Phillips 66 selects property for future headquarters campus

Phillips 66 has selected the location for its future global headquarters. After an extensive search in the Greater Houston area with a focus on West Houston, Phillips 66 chose a plot of land in the Westchase District, home to several of Houston’s top companies including BMC Software, Haliburton, Petrobras and StatOil. The 14.2-acre site is located off Beltway 8 West between Westheimer Road and Briar Forest Drive.

“We searched for several months for the right site to build a headquarters campus where our extraordinary employees and future employees can come together to work, and develop their skills and talents,” said Greg C. Garland, chairman and chief executive officer of Phillips 66. “This property is conveniently located in the Westchase District; its location aligns with our commitment to making our company a great place to work, and should minimize the impact on the commuting time of our employees.”

This large property serves the need for a multi-building campus, which will include a cafeteria and training and development center. Although the design phase of the project is still in progress, Phillips 66 envisions its new headquarters as a place that will attract and retain the best talent as the company continues to build a high-performing organization.

After the design phase is complete and the necessary permitting is in place, construction will begin and is expected to take 24 to 36 months. Stay tuned for more updates as the company progresses with its plans to build a headquarters campus.
