Phillips 66 Continental GmbH Commercial Office

Phillips 66 Continental GmbH is a subsidiary of the American corporation Phillips 66 and a shareholder in the MiRO refinery in Karlsruhe (18.75%).

From its Hamburg location, Phillips 66 Continental manages and coordinates all activities for this refinery share. These include:

  • the selection and logistics of crude oil;
  • the operational planning of refinery production;
  • the wholesale of manufactured products; and
  • tasks in the area of bio-blending and compliance with statutory greenhouse gas quotas.

Phillips 66 Continental also has interests in other companies through various joint ventures related to the MIRO refinery. These include:

  • GKG (wholesaler of energy products based in Germany
  • Zeller (wholesaler of energy products based in France);
  • TAL (Transalpine Oil Pipeline – Italy, Austria, and Germany); and
  • SPSE (Société du Pipeline Sud-Européen – France); 
  • Phillips 66 Continental also has a stake in the joint venture with JET for the German gas station business.
