Phillips 66 Aviation Soared High at NBAA-BACE

HOUSTON (NOV. 9, 2023) – The energy at the 2023 NBAA Business Aviation Convention & Exhibition (NBAA-BACE) in Las Vegas, NV, was sky-high as thousands learned about the latest innovations that are helping shape the future of the aviation industry. NBAA-BACE is the world’s largest business aviation event, where game-changing innovation takes center stage. The two-day event provides the ultimate opportunity to explore technologies that are driving the excitement, safety and sustainability of aviation and interact with thousands of dedicated and visionary individuals from all levels of the industry.

Hundreds of attendees visited Phillips 66® Aviation’s themed booth, “The Places You’ll Go,” and met with representatives from Phillips 66 Aviation, Phillips 66 Lubricants and Contract Fuel. Visitors also learned about the first-class services and the latest news from Phillips 66 branded FBOs Business Jet Center, Fontainebleau Aviation, DuPage Flight Center, Tri-City Aviation, Texas Jet, Gill Aviation and Ft. Lauderdale Executive Jet Center.

“We look forward to this event every year as it provides opportunities to spotlight some of our key branded FBOs and share with new attendees how Phillips 66 is a leader in aviation,” said Sunny Lopez, Manager, Phillips 66 Aviation. “We wrapped up another successful year and are excited to continue conversations and building relationships with everyone we met at NBAA-BACE.”

To keep the excitement soaring high in the Phillips 66 Aviation booth, visitors competed in “Let’s Bounce,” a party pong game where they traveled cross-country from booth to booth and collected luggage tags from each Phillips 66 FBO. Once they collected all the tags, they earned a chance to bounce a ping pong ball into a series of glasses at the end of a themed, customized runway table. Players who made their shot in the “VIP” glass returned later to face off in the final round to take home the coveted grand prize, an Apple MacBook. Other winners walked away with an Apple Watch, Apple AirPods, T-shirts and tech kits.

Phillips 66 Aviation continued its 13-year partnership with the Corporate Angel Network (CAN) and awarded a $23,460 donation to Corporate Angel Network (CAN) as part of its annual sponsorship of the Corporate Angel Award. The award highlights corporations and flight departments that have demonstrated outstanding dedication as participants of CAN. With over 500 participating major corporations, the award recognizes four corporate flight departments each year. This year’s recipients include Hertz, Savoya, Nationwide, and Nestle Purina. Since 2010, Phillips 66 Aviation has donated more than $260,000 to CAN and helped numerous families access the critical care they need.

To celebrate and show appreciation to Phillips 66 customers for their continued partnership, Phillips 66 Aviation hosted a Customer Appreciation Event at Hakkasan Nightclub at MGM Grand. Alter Ego, a 10-member cover band known for performing concerts at Las Vegas’ famed Freemont Street, kept the crowd moving and singing to popular hits, including Journey’s “Don’t stop Believin’’ and “Girls Just Want to Have Fun” by Cyndi Lauper.

The Phillips 66 Aviation Advisory Council hosted a Mix and Mingle event for Phillips 66 customers at the booth, where attendees had exciting conversations with good company.

Phillips 66 Aviation enjoyed meeting everyone who stopped by the booth and looks forward to participating in next year’s NBAA-BACE in Las Vegas, NV.
