Phillips 66 Aviation Marks 16 Years of Support for Corporate Angel Network at NBAA-BACE

$23,928 check presentation helps nonprofit connect cancer patients with specialized care through donated flights

Phillips 66® Aviation marked 16 years of support for Corporate Angel Network (CAN) with a $23,928 check presented to the nonprofit organization during the 2026 NBAA Business Aviation Convention & Exhibition (NBAA-BACE). The contribution will help CAN provide free flights for cancer patients traveling for specialized medical care on corporate aircraft.

“With generous support from organizations like Phillips 66 Aviation, we can continue completing flights that make a difference in people’s lives by helping patients reach the vital care they need,” said Robert Stangarone, President & CEO, Corporate Angel Network. “We’re grateful to the aviation community and pleased to recognize Jet Aviation, LFG Aviation, ConocoPhillips and Emerson with the Corporate Angel Award for helping patients and families.”

Through its network of corporate aircraft partners, CAN helps cancer patients access medical care that may be miles away from home. The organization has completed more than 70,000 patient flights to date and arranges approximately 150 flights each month, easing some challenges associated with long-distance travel. CAN expects to arrange more than 2,000 patient flights in 2026.

The donation is part of Phillips 66® Aviation’s annual sponsorship of the Corporate Angel Award, which recognizes corporations and flight departments that contribute to CAN’s mission. This year’s honorees include Jet Aviation, LFG Aviation, ConocoPhillips and Emerson.

“We’ve reached a significant milestone with Corporate Angel Network, and we’re proud to continue making a difference in the lives of patients and families beyond the runway,” said Jennifer Claunch, Manager, Aviation Sales, Phillips 66. “Our enduring support of CAN reflects the aviation industry’s ability to use its resources to help patients reach the care they need when they need it most.”

In December, CAN will celebrate 45 years of connecting cancer patients with air travel to access treatment, clinical trials and second opinions. By coordinating donated seats on corporate aircraft, the organization helps patients access these services and resources while reducing some of the financial and logistical challenges of care.

Since 2010, Phillips 66® Aviation has contributed more than $327,928 to CAN, reflecting a long-standing commitment to bringing hope, comfort and compassion to patients and families during some of life’s most challenging moments.
